"Celebrating 130 Years"
"Celebrating 130 Years"Clergy, employees and volunteers in our parish hold a position of trust in our communities, irrespective of whether the role involves direct, indirect or no contact with children and young people. Our blanket approach ensures that we all stand united in creating safe environments for children and young people, and demonstrates our commitment to excluding persons who pose an obvious risk to children and young people.
All clergy, employees and volunteers over the age of 18 years old are required to maintain a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and police record check throughout their involvement at Sacred Heart Parish.
Please read the Key Safeguarding Framework Resources below then provide the parish with the "Essential Forms to be Completed by Clergy, Staff & Volunteers."
The above safeguarding documents have been translated into 11 languages and can be accessed from the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne.
(Note: a current Victoria Institute of Teaching (VIT) covers WWCC and Police Check)
